Velocity Resource Group’s Exciting Expansions

Velocity Resource Group first opened the doors to their Tampa office in November 2016 and by January 2017 they were already working on expanding that office’s size. By August 2017, VRG has now doubled their office space to accommodate development in Tampa.

In order to most efficiently function, VRG has leased the office next door and opened the space up with the help of Commercial Florida Management and Cushman & Wakefield. This expansion was necessary in order to prepare for multiple incoming employees from VRG’s Chicago office as well as additional hires from the Tampa Bay area. Velocity Resource Group’s Co-Founder and Senior Managing Partner, John Fortino, comments, “With many thanks to the fantastic teams at Commercial Florida Management and Cushman & Wakefield, we’ve been able to move quickly in doubling the size of our office space in less than 10 months’ time. We’re incredibly excited about our continued growth in the Tampa area!”.

The expansion of Velocity Resource Group’s Tampa office parallels with the companies staff expansion as well. In the last three months alone, VRG has hired three Tampa-based Talent Acquisition Specialists and are in the process of hiring for more positions in Talent Acquisition, Administration, and Data Entry. Not bad for a year’s work! This marks the start of a new age of advancement for VRG, as the office expansion is a part of the company’s plan to hire 50 new employees for their Tampa Headquarters over the next two years.
