PikMyKid is a system that makes the school dismissal process smarter, safer, and cheaper. On Tuesday, May 17, PikMyKid received the honor of presenting at the Early Stage Venture Capital Conference. This was ultimately a competition to win prizes for $100,000, $30,000, and $20,000. The entire event was sponsored by Florida Space Coast. There were about 25 start-up companies with tables at the event. Each company was able to present the exciting details of their business. These presentations were given in front of many large investors. At the Early State Venture Capital Conference PikMyKid did not win a monetary prize, however, was adjudged as the most promising start-up and won a ‘Golden Ticket’ to present at The Florida Venture Capital Conference in 2017!

The Florida Venture Forum is Florida’s largest and most prominent statewide support organization for entrepreneurs, while helping developing growth companies to come together with sources of capital from all across the country. The statewide member based organization allows entrepreneurs to obtain funding through education, strategic partnering, as well as efficient networking. It is a great honor for PikMyKid to receive automatic entry to present at this conference without any additional prequalification. Additionally, the previous presenting companies of the Florida Venture Capital Conferences have raised over $3 Billion dollars in funding!

Other school dismissal protocols are outdated, inefficient, and unsafe. Conversely, PikMyKid has been able to solve a real-life problem that affects many families and schools around the world.
