Elevate, Inc. is proud to highlight our client, Tampa-based Ecover Global for their involvement with AdventHealth. The AdventHealth Carrollwood Foundation is undertaking an exciting project to create a new Healing Garden. The existing half-acre parcel adjacent to the hospital will be transformed into a serene verdant space for patients, employees, and visitors to enjoy. Ecover Global believes that peace of mind is an essential part of the healing process and is proud to be supporting AdventHealth’s latest project.
The Healing Garden will include a new state-of-the-art water feature, seating areas, event spaces, Florida friendly landscaping, lighting, and pathways. This new addition to our community furthers AdventHealth’s vision to improve body, mind, and spirit. In addition to being a great way for employees, doctors and nurses to gather together for events, meals or socialization, a healing garden can be a very effective and powerful outlet for patients and their families. Healing gardens in hospitals are known to help with relief from symptoms, stress reduction, and improvement in overall sense of wellbeing and hopefulness. Some studies even show a reduction in need of pain medications due to the reduction of stress that comes with a healing garden.
We asked ECover CEO Ben Sever why he felt it was important to get involved and he told us, “Ecover’s 3 flagship platforms: Patient Engagement, Community Engagement and TeleHealth aim to influence whole-person wellness, which AdventHealth is committed to. The collaborative nature of the healing garden has the potential to be the epicenter of cross-departmental peace of mind, so we are committed to the cause.” We are very proud of the work ECover is doing in the Tampa Bay area.
