Don’t Forget Your Relationship Funnel

Jeff Nischwitz (owner of The Nischwitz Group … has discovered one of the biggest challenges to effective networking and business development – it’s the lack of awareness of and attention to your relationship funnel. We all know and talk about our sales funnel, which applies to people or organizations that we’ve identified as prospects. However, we rarely think or talk about our relationship funnel.

The relationship funnel is what feeds our sales funnel, and a high quality relationship funnel creates not only more prospects but more referral-based prospects. That means that a strong relationship funnel equals a sales funnel with more prospects, more high quality prospects and, most important, a higher and faster close rate.
