Building Easier CEO William Daniel Graduates FBI Citizen’s Academy Class of 2023

We are excited to announce Building Easier Construction Group ™ (BECG) CEO William Daniel has graduated the 2023 FBI Citizen’s Academy. As we highlighted in our newsletter recently, BECG helmed by William Daniel was recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Fast 50 list for the second time consecutively and earlier this year, after a competitive nomination process, he was nominated to the Tampa FBI Citizen’s Academy. William, a 6th generation Floridian and University of Tampa graduate, founded the Building Easier Construction Group (BECG), a building and real-estate company, in 2014 in his hometown of Tampa Florida. BECG’s size also landed them on Tampa Bay’s Top 200 privately held companies in 2022 and Will was named a Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 40 under 40 honoree of 2022. 

“Meeting the people that work day in and day out to keep us safe both here in Tampa and beyond was truly a remarkable experience. Hearing about the programs they run, meeting the actual agents and investigators and seeing their level of professionalism and dedication gives one a new understanding of what it means to serve our community.” Will told us when asked what he felt the most rewarding experience within the academy was. The FBI Citizens Academy is a stimulating six- to eight-week program that gives business, religious, civic, and community leaders an inside look at the FBI. During the academy, students gain insight into the structure and operation of FBI field offices and resident agencies and learn the services the FBI provides to local and state law enforcement agencies. It is the goal of the FBI Citizens Academy to foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in the community through frank discussion and education and enhance community engagement with the FBI.
