BDO USA 2016 Mid-Year Seminar

Join BDO USA, LLP’s Tampa office on Tuesday, June 7 for their complimentary 2016 Mid-Year Seminar! This event will be held at the Marriott Tampa Waterside Hotel. Registration will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and the presentations will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The keynote speaker at this event will be Sareet Majumdar, President of ICTC Global Manufacturing Solutions. After the presentations, BDO will be hosting a cocktail Networking Reception from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for all attendees.

The program will include in-depth presentations and networking opportunities with accounting and tax professionals. Attendees can expect to hear from subject matter leaders about the latest accounting and tax policy changes and how they can prepare for the impact of these future changes. The specific topics that will be covered are accounting and financial reporting, tax updates, proposed legislation and trends that may have an impact business leaders or their companies, international tax, insights into cyber security, an update on M&A transaction issues, as well as healthcare issues and the impact of bundled payments.

Participants will be able to apply new accounting and tax standards learned in this course to their company’s financial reporting process. Participants will also be able to identify recent changes to accounting and SEC reporting as well as identify legislation and current issues/trends in state, federal and international taxation. This program offers a total of 7.5 CPE credits (2.0 Tax, 1.0 Accounting, 1.0 Economics, and 3.5 Specialized Knowledge and Applications).
