Doug Quitmeyer, CEO of Your6, had the opportunity to discuss does as well as his experience with the recruitment process after serving in the Military at the Elevate, Inc. advisory board meeting and why it led to the creation of the recruitment technology company.

After serving in the United States Army for 8 years and obtaining a wide array of skills, Doug was ready to pursue a civilian career. When he started working with a recruitment firm, he realized that the jobs he was being matched with were not in line with his unique set of skills. It was then that Quitmeyer realized that the recruitment process needed an update. Along with his team, Quitmeyer uses data to find Veteran job seekers find the right career match for their skills. The transition from military to civilian careers can be difficult, and Your6 is dedicated to helping Veterans navigate this process.

In addition to assisting military Veterans, Your6 also helps civilian business job seekers as well as companies recruiting employees. Companies spend a large amount of money hiring and training employees. Utilizing AI and machine learning, the team at Your6 is able to predict each and every candidate’s potential. This leads to a more authentic view of what job seekers have to offer, and in turn, a more accurate match between employee and employer.
