Welcome Blog: Elevate, Inc. Welcomes Arts Conservatory for Teens to Our Client Roster!

Community Spotlight Elevate, Inc. is proud to introduce the Arts Conservatory for Teens (ACT)—a St. Petersburg–based nonprofit delivering evidence-based arts and workforce-readiness education that equips young people to thrive creatively, academically, and economically.

Now in its 14th season, ACT has expanded from one location to 23 sites, serving over 1,197 students each week. Designed to accelerate high school graduation and career preparedness, ACT blends artistic excellence with real-world skill development.

Founded by world-renowned recording artist, academician, and humanitarian Dr. Alex Harris, ACT offers research-driven programs in music, dance, theater, visual arts, creative technology, film, and fashion, alongside financial empowerment and life-skills workshops. Students gain practical tools through courses in the psychology of money, entrepreneurship, health and wellness, and leadership development—ensuring creativity is paired with confidence and competence.

What sets ACT apart is its intentional use of the arts as a catalyst for community transformation—strengthening local educational, economic, and cultural ecosystems. Through mentorship, inclusive access, and holistic instruction, ACT develops resilient, motivated young leaders prepared for success on stage, in school, and in the workforce.

This impact-driven approach aligns seamlessly with Elevate, Inc.’s mission to spotlight organizations advancing innovation, empowerment, and sustainable growth. We are honored to welcome the Arts Conservatory for Teens to our community spotlight.
