The Tampa Club recently hosted an insightful luncheon featuring Walt Batansky, CFO and Co-founder of Avocat Group, Florida’s pioneering commercial real estate firm dedicated exclusively to corporate users. The event provided a unique opportunity for attendees to gain insights from Batansky’s entrepreneurial journey and expertise in the real estate industry. 

 

Batansky captivated the audience with his journey of establishing Avocat Group as the first commercial real estate firm in Florida exclusively serving corporate users. From Fortune 500 firms to local companies, they turn to Avocat for expert guidance for corporate headquarters, data center, & complex office & warehouse projects. Joining when he was 19 years old, Walt has completed transactions in all 50 states & over a dozen countries and is a regular keynote speaker at universities & organizations such as the FL Institute of CFO’s and the Society of Office and Industrial Realtors. He shared anecdotes and valuable lessons learned along the way, offering practical advice for navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship and carving out a niche in a competitive market as well as emphasizing the significance of identifying unmet needs in the market and delivering tailored solutions to meet the evolving demands of corporate clients.
