We are proud to highlight Herb Shulhafer, a retired architect and esteemed ambassador of the Help Us Grow Reading Program for the past 10 years. Herb’s journey is truly inspiring. As a child, he struggled with a speech impediment, which made learning and communication challenging. However, with the support of dedicated programs like ours, he overcame these obstacles and went on to have a successful career in architecture.

For the past decade, Herb has been giving back by helping children who face similar challenges. His personal experience and resilience make him a compassionate and understanding mentor. We are honored to have him as an ambassador, helping us to make a lasting impact on the lives of young readers.
