Tampa-based cloud solutions development firm RevStar Consulting is fast-tracking a project for Austin Texas based Smrt Testing to provide a cloud-native HIPAA/HITRUST compliant web and mobile platform built in 30 days. Smrt Testing is a drive-through COVID-19 testing center that provides test results via email, offering both PCR testing (~2 day turnaround time) and rapid testing (~15 minute turnaround time). They also offer receipts for the PCR testing to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
We sat down with RevStar CEO Ken Pomella to ask what types of challenges he and his team faced with this project. “We were able to fast track the process because of our expertise building compliant applications regularly. We build cloud-native on AWS and we are fortunate to have a team of experts who know how to deliver results that drive business value quickly. This project was a priority for my team and I because we saw this as a way to give back and lend our expertise to helping tackle COVID-19.”
