We hope many of you were able to join Amelia Fox with Lutheran Services Florida on Oct 18th at the Tampa Club for a discussion on making a difference in your community. We talked about ways that we can increase our impact and help more of the thousands of families right here in the Tampa Bay region who are struggling every day. The conversation included how little sacrifices that you and your business make will have a big difference in the lives of people in desperate need. We learned about innovative partnerships – such as the one between LSF and WalkOn Mobile Clinic for disaster relief; creative alliances – such as LSF’s connection with Metropolitan Ministries and Feeding Tampa Bay and the newly formed Bay Area Bridge Builders (www.lsfnet.org/BABB); and individual connections – such as the Just2Bikes initiative.
