Founder and CEO, Zach Abel has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities throughout Florida, including the Tampa area. He has worked with the American Lung Association, Florida Boys and Girls Club, Veteran’s Art Center Tampa Bay, Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch, Florida Hospital, and Moffitt Foundation. He was proud to attend and raise money for The Joshua House foundation.
On September 9th, the community gathered to raise awareness and share the mission of non-profits in our Tampa Bay community! Socially Funded provided a remarkable silent auction that consisted of sports merchandise and jewelry. Their team can enhance your auction and increase revenue with no fees or risks involved.
The Joshua House serves as a safe haven for children in need. Friends of Joshua House Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization of concerned individuals who have dedicated themselves to developing resources to improve the quality of life for abused, abandoned, and neglected children and teens from our community by promoting healing and growth, and empowerment. Foster care in our community is in crisis. We assist by creating an enriching family-like environment where children with complex traumas can heal, recover, and stabilize so that placement permanency can be provided.
Hundreds of children have passed through Joshua House since it opened. Each story of abuse and neglect is as unique as the child’s. With five homes on 11 acres, Joshua House promotes growth, stability, and support specific to each child’s needs. Keeping sibling groups together is just one of the many ways Joshua House makes a difference. Acting as the fundraising arm of this fine program, Friends of Joshua House Foundation raises resources, develops solutions, and supports Tampa Bay’s most vulnerable citizens…its children.
