“Not only is it exposing them to what’s out there, but giving them tangible advice on how to learn it, as well as being available to answer questions related to what they’re learning and providing support for their journey. One of the things I ask those I mentor to work on is a business sample case. This allows them to build something practical and to beef up their online portfolio.” Ken went on to tell us, “I try to take a holistic approach by providing value to my mentee. Being able to build and solve an actual business problem provides them an example of what types of expertise will be expected and provides a deeper understanding of the value they can offer to a company.”
