Pilot Bank continuously strives to be a pillar of community outreach and development throughout the Tampa Bay area. At the forefront of their efforts are their Market Leaders, who serve both as a point of contact for each branch and advocates for their local community as a whole. Pilot Bank’s Vice President Market Leader, Nicole Fielder, is a prime example of service in leadership.

As of May, Fielder will be serving as Market Leader for both Upper Tampa Bay and New Tampa. When asked her thoughts on expanding into this area Nicole shared, “Although I’ve never worked in New Tampa market, I’m excited to get to know the businesses there. It’ll be great to get involved in North Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce and start getting to know the clients at the New Tampa Banking Center. I look forward to sharing with them the ways that we can assist them with their financial needs”.

In addition to this new position within Pilot Bank, Nicole has joined the Board of Directors at Solita’s House this past April. Solita’s House is a HUD Certified non-profit focused on home buyer education, financial literacy and foreclosure prevention. “This non-profit in particular really stood out to me as their mission statement and values align exactly with my goals for the community,” shared Nicole. Solita’s House, founded in 2006, is based in Ybor City but helps the entire Bay area – including Pinellas County, Tampa Bay, Lakeland, and Pasco County to name a few.

When asked about which aspect in particular she wants to get more involved in with Solita’s House, Nicole replied, “The opportunity to help people with finances through educational programs and counseling. The idea of getting to know individuals on personal level and helping to counsel them to the best of my abilities is similar to what I do at the bank so I’m looking forward to helping my community in this regards as well”.

Nicole continues to be a strong community advocate through her work with Solita’s House and her tremendous leadership skills and experience are a true asset to the Pilot Bank culture. Congratulations Nicole!
