Pilot Bank is proud to highlight Sales and Service Vice President Dawn T. Fuzell as Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserves.
Commander Fuzell is Tampa native and she graduated from Bethune Cookman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting in 1997. She went on to earn her master’s in business administration from Florida Metropolitan University cum laude in 2006.
Commander Fuzell enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserves in October 2001, and Direct Commissioning to Supply Officer in 2006. Her mobilization tours include in August 2009 a one-year Individual Augmentation deployment to Djibouti, Africa, in August 2011 ADSW assignment in Bahrain as a Supply Officer and in 2015 Individual Augmentation deployment to Djibouti, Africa. In her decorated career, her personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with a gold star), the Navy Achievement Medal (with three gold stars) and the SWSCO/NESCO warfare pin, and campaign and service ribbons.

Commander Fuzell has been in the Banking industry for 24 years, with Pilot Bank specifically for 15 years. During each of her three deployments, Pilot Bank has supported and welcomed her back to continue her banking tenure. While at Pilot Bank, she has supported various community organizations including Making with Strides, Relay for Life and two Chambers of Commerce.
