Anchor Glass Container Corporation is excited to welcome Arlo Sims as their new Executive Vice President of Operations. Sims, along with his wife and three children, have relocated to Tampa, FL from Atlanta, GA. With over 10 years of experience as an accomplished leader, Sims will build upon Anchor Glass’ strategic focus on safety and work to provide the same flawless customer experience Anchor Glass is known for.

Sims holds a B.S. in Product Design Engineering from Ferris State University as well as an M.S. in Management from Walsh Business College. Over the past 10 years, he has worked with companies to improve their reputation as well as customer satisfaction. As Director of Operations with Franke Kitchen Systems, Sims transformed company culture and improved productivity across a majority of plants. During his time as Vice President of Quality at The Freedom Group, Sims led a major footprint strategy for the company that greatly reduced costs. With Consolidated Container Company as their Vice President of Operations, Sims improved underperforming facilities through team building and leadership development and increased productivity exponentially.
