Gary Franks is the new Vice President of Operations at Craig Tile and Flooring LLC. His role as VP of Operations includes overseeing day-to-day operations to support the growth of the business. Some of these tasks include, but are not limited to hiring and training staff, reviewing financials, overseeing the estimates, as well as project management.
Gary grew up in the flooring business. He worked for his father’s flooring company for about twelve years. His father’s business was successful and as an employee, Gary became well acquainted with his vendors and customers. Gary was shortly involved in equipment sales, however he was continuously encouraged by many of his customers and peers to start his own business. In 2011, Gary moved on to open his own business. Starting his own business provided him with credibility due to his excellent and consistent work-product. Because he became well known and successful, he was then able to make important connections, thus inflowing Gary’s name into circulation. Piyush bought Craig Tile and Flooring, LLC and was looking for someone to help him run the business. Due to Gary’s connections, Piyush was able to obtain Gary’s name and asked him to join Craig Tile and Flooring, LLC.
Gary’s strong ethical and moral code sets him apart from most. He is a huge advocate for giving back to the community. He believes that it is a shame when companies only work to make a quick buck and do not hold their work-product to a higher standard. Gary wholeheartedly believes that a company should uphold a respectable name and to demonstrate reliability in their work that is done day-in and day-out. He believes that by maintaining authenticity and not compromising integrity for profits, growth and success soon will follow.
