Elevate, Inc. Today featured Kothand Rajangam, Founder of Kriosk, in episode 18 where Kothand shares his passion for the business community and how COVID-19 has played a part in growing his business.

Originally from India, Kothand spent about 34 years of his life building up the technology industry for his homeland before moving to Tampa Bay where he started the U.S. Operations for Katpro Technologies. Graduating as an Engineer in Electronics and Communication, it is rare to see a person use that degree to become an entrepreneur, but that didn’t stop Kothand.

His first business venture, though failed, ignited his passion and resilience to becoming a successful business owner. Starting Kriosk, which offers temperature screening kiosks, Kothand knew of the advancing technology that he would have to consistently stay up to date on if he wanted to be successful. While continuing to advance, Kriosk became an effective tool for companies all over the Tampa Bay area, especially during the start of COVID-19. By offering a no-touch access management kiosk, Kriosk became the new and improved way to screen employees before entering a building. Kothand pushed himself to adapt to and overcome obstacles that COVID-19 had brought to our community, and by doing so, he has been able to offer many businesses extra safety measures when it comes to in-person contact.
