Katpro CEO Joins Real Men Wear Pink

Like most people, Katpro Technologies’ CEO, Kothand Rajangam has been affected by cancer. Just last year, Rajangam’s mother passed away from cancer. When he learned about the organization and got the opportunity to join Real Men Wear Pink, he was eager to get involved.

Real Men Wear Pink is an organization that gives men a leadership role within the community to help in the fight against breast cancer. Each individual utilized personal and business connections to raise awareness as well as money for the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer initiatives. This includes innovative research, patient services, and education surrounding screenings and risk education. Throughout the month of October, men wear pink to bring attention to their goal and utilize their social media networks to share their message.

When asked about his involvement in Real Men Wear Pink, Rajangam stated, “I am most excited to be part of a team of community leaders that share a common cause. To make an impact in the lives of others, in spite of the challenges and commitments that our businesses pose daily, is really the single reason that I feel motivated to work with this team. The relationships that we build in the process is definitely something that I look forward to as well”.

Every dollar raised helps the American Cancer Society save lives through innovative research, early detection, prevention and patient support. To date, the community leaders of Real Men Wear Pink Tampa has raised over $22,000 and are well on their way to meet their goal.
