BDO USA, LLP’s Tampa practice is hosting a complimentary, CPE-qualified program on Thursday, December 1 at the Amalie Arena. This program will include in-depth presentations and networking opportunities with accounting and tax professionals. Registration will take place from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM and the presentations will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. After the presentations, BDO will be hosting a Cocktail Networking Reception from the 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM as an opportunity to create connections with other professionals within the industry.
The specific topics that will be discussed are accounting and financial reporting, tax updates, proposed legislation, as well as any trends that may have an impact on you or your business. Participants can expect to hear from subject matter leaders about the latest accounting and tax policy changes and how to prepare for the impact of these future changes. Attendees should be able to identify recent changes to accounting and SEC reporting, legislation and current issues/trends in state, federal and international taxation.
Upon completion of this update, participants will be able to apply new accounting and tax standards learned in this course to their company’s financial reporting process. This program offers attendees a total of 3 CPE credits (2.0 Tax and 1.0 Accounting).
