ICTC Opens a New Facility in the Philippines While Expanding its US Footprint

ICTC Manufacturing Solutions is located in Brooksville, Florida. ICTC is a Full-Service Contract Manufacturer of custom wire harnesses, cable assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies and electronic box builds. In February 2017, ICTC has opened a production line in Laguna, Philippines. Opening the new facility in the Philippines leaves room for ICTC to expand its involvement on more military projects within the United States.

The new facility in the Philippines expands ICTC’s global manufacturing solutions for both itself as well as its clients. As a result of increased outsourcing to China, there has been a continued surge in manufacturing regulations and costs. By opening a new facility in the Philippines, ICTC has created greater flexibility and better control of the manufacturing process. ICTC will be taking simple cable assembly, wire harness, and box build orders from customers that provide ICTC with 6 to 12 month projections over to the new facility in the Philippines. Not only does this lead to monetary savings for ICTC, but most importantly to its customers worldwide. Current customers will incur these benefits provided they are able to plan with a longer lead-time for their contract builds.

The strength of ICTC’s business lies within its hybrid model of partial offshore manufacturing combined with finished production and final sales onshore. The products currently manufactured offshore are products that rightfully should be produced offshore for cost savings and simplicity in manufacturing. The key to ICTC’s model is to protect intellectual property by keeping key components of its clients’ products within the U.S, continued development in manufacturing technology along with focus on protecting American IP and its know-how has led to a steady increase in the quality of manufacturing jobs at ICTC. ICTC continues to grow its US manufacturing base by developing smart practices on how it integrates offshore manufacturing capabilities into its overall global manufacturing footprint.
