Gulf Coast JFCS CEO Dr. Sandra Braham Honored by the Women of Color Golf (WOCG) with their Member of the Year Award
We are proud to announce that Tampa’s own Dr. Sandra Braham, CEO of Gulf Coast JFCS, has been awarded the Member of the Year award by the Women of Color Golf (WOCG) organization. This is significant in that WOCG, just a few months ago, was named the PGA Tournament Charity of the Year, an international recognition. WOCG’s mission is “to increase diversity and inclusion in the sport of golf for women and girls through instruction, on-course play, mentoring, networking, special events, health and career-related opportunities.” Dr. Braham will begin mentoring elementary school girls in Hillsborough County at the Clemmie Ross James Elementary School starting this spring.
We are extremely excited for Dr. Braham to be recognized for this achievement and for her continued positive representation of Tampa Bay! For more information on the Women of Color Golf organization, visit their website here: https://bit.ly/3bp3WVO
