Elevate, Inc. Welcomes The Pelvic Floor Institute!

We are proud to welcome Dr. Lennox Hoyte and his team at The Pelvic Floor Institute to #TeamElevate. The PFI is led by Managing Partner Dr. Hoyte, a Fellowship trained Board Certified specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). The Pelvic Floor Institute has offices in both Tampa and Sarasota.

Dr. Hoyte’s medical background is a bit more unorthodox than most in his field. After receiving his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, Dr. Hoyte then went on to obtain his MD from Stanford Medical School. He completed OB/GYN Residency training at Brigham and Women’s/Massachusetts General Hospitals in Boston, and completed formal fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in OB/GYN with subspecialty certification in FPMRS and is a member at many medical societies including American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and American Urogynecologic Society(AUGS).

Dr. Hoyte founded The Pelvic Floor Institute in order to provide personalized care to women with complex pelvic floor disorders. While their main office is located on Swann Ave. in South Tampa, Dr. Hoyte operates out of Memorial Hospital Tampa, Tampa General Hospital, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, and Florida Hospital. He treats women with prolapse, incontinence, overactive bladder, childbirth related pelvic floor injury, and complications related to vaginal mesh surgeries. He offers a wide range of successful surgical and non-surgical therapies to treat women with these problems.

Dr. Hoyte also specializes in advanced, non-invasive robotic surgery to correct prolapse. He has performed over 1,000 robotic surgical procedures, and is one of the leading robotic prolapse repair surgeons in the world. He has also trained over 60 surgeons in the use of the Da Vinci robotic surgical system.

The founding of Dr. Hoyte’s practice stems from his passion of informing and educating women and their families about diagnosis and treatment options rather than living with pain and discomfort that they have come to expect. PFI’s focus is on delivering excellent outcomes and an outstanding patient experience. Dr. Hoyte stays engaged in the community by offering shadowing programs of his work as well as speaking engagements, seminars and attending events. He and his team have now partnered with Elevate, Inc. and are ready to further #ElevateTampa!
