Elevate, Inc. Welcomes New Client, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay!

Elevate is proud to welcome Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay to our team! At Big Brothers Big Sisters, they provide both children and mentors the essential tools to develop lifelong, purposeful relationships. They serve more than 2,100 children in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco Citrus, Hernando, Sumter, Alachua & Marion counties. With a mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth, Big Brothers Big Sisters’ vision is for all youth to achieve their full potential

In 2022, 99% of Littles had no involvement with the juvenile justice system, 98% were promoted to the next grade level, 97% maintained or improved their educational aspirations, and 94% maintained or improved in academics.

Big Brother Big Sisters of Tampa Bay offers several volunteer programs that allow you to impact a child through mentoring. In our Community Based partnership, you pick up your Little Brother or Little Sister at their home and spend time engaged in activities you both enjoy or visit them over lunch at their local elementary or after school program. Through our various community partnerships, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay provides a monthly list of fun and interactive activities for our matches to take advantage of, many of which are free or at a reduced price. Volunteers spend between 4-8 hours with their Little each month, depending on which mentorship program they are involved in. In our School-to-Work program, students visit the workplace of their Bigs to become comfortable in a work environment and learn post-graduation skills. After graduating high school, our Littles can continue receiving college and career guidance under the Big Futures program. Our Bigs with Badges volunteer program is a special initiative designed to break down barriers and increase communication and understanding.
