August 3, 2016- Elevate, Inc. President Aakash Patel has been accepted into the prestigious James Madison Institute Leaders Fellowship program. The JMI Leaders Fellowship was designed to promote the growth and development of young professionals under 40 in Florida. Currently, Leaders Fellowship occupies six locations in Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Palm Beach, Tallahassee and Tampa.
The James Madison Institute is seen as the premier free market think tank in Florida for young leaders. Each fellowship program last one year and challenges members to become sound policymakers and take part in educational debates. The goal is to educate class members on key public policies and issues that have a direct impact on the state’s economic development.
Aakash is delighted to join such a prestigious organization and looks forward to the skills he will learn. “I have always believed in this state and appreciated the rights that we have to vote and get involved. As a member of the Tampa Bay Board of Directors of JMI for the past two years, I am excited the Leaders Fellowship program will allow me to make educated decisions and develop a greater understanding of what it takes to guide an economic state,” continued Patel.

In 2012 Patel launched Elevate, Inc. a strategic business consulting firm providing public relations, community relations, target networking, and social media. In 2013, the FSU Alumni Association named Patel as one of their top “Thirty Under 30” alumni. In 2015, he was installed as an Honorary Commander to the 6th Air Mobility wing Director of Staff for a two year commitment. In order to give back while staying connected Patel serves as Chairman of the Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County (a gubernatorial appointment) Immediate Past Chair at the University of Tampa’s Board of Counselors, and as a Board of Director at the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
