With all the difficulties for businesses around the country this year, with the spike of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen lasting impacts on small businesses, causing some to struggle in order to stay in-business or close. Every year, the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce names its Small Business of the Year Award Recipients. This year, the award will touch the hearts of small business owners even more, as it will give them the recognition they deserve after such as challenging year. Out of many small businesses that applied for this recognition, Ecover, a healthcare technology company in Tampa, has been nominated as a semi-finalist.
The Small Business of the Year award is the highest recognition in the Tampa Bay business community, given each year by the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce. This year, the Chamber celebrates its 40th year of this award, and is eager to continue the legacy of recognizing important business achievements in Tampa.
After extensive vetting and selection, Ecover, a healthcare technology company in Tampa, was selected by the Chamber as a Small Business of the Year semi-finalist.
As the excitement continues and anticipation builds up, semi-finalists will find out the winner of the Small Business of the Year award on Thursday, September 10, 2020, and we urge the Tampa Bay Community to continue supporting small businesses during these difficult times.
