DSK Law strives to continuously better their community and clients beyond their practice. They do so by staying engaged through various organizations in both the legal industry and others, so it comes as no surprise that the DSK Law Tampa office had three attorneys included in Florida Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite. Bart Valdes was recognized in the area of Business Law and both Amber Ashton and Cameron Frye were recognized as Up and Comers.
The Florida Legal Elite presents a prestigious roster of attorneys chosen for recognition by their peers. The resulting lists represent fewer than 1% of the active Florida Bar members who practice in Florida. According to Florida Trend Magazine, the listed attorneys “exemplify a standard of excellence in their profession and by so doing, have garnered the respect and esteem of their colleagues”.
In addition to these recent accomplishments, Bart Valdes recently spoke on a panel at the Florida Voluntary Bar Leaders Conference on financial issues and budgeting for local bar associations. Bart also volunteered and represented DSK Law at Salsa, Soul and Sass – the annual fundraiser and membership drive for the Tampa Hispanic Bar Association, the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers and the George Edgecomb Bar Association.
Amber Ashton, a Legal Elite Up and Comer, has had her own share of recent accomplishments as well. At the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar’s (“RPPTL”) recent annual convention, Amber was appointed as Co-Vice Chair of the Real Property Litigation Committee.
In addition to this appointment, Amber was selected as an At-Large Member of the Executive Council and as the Publications Liaison for both the Real Property Litigation Committee and the Real Property Problem Study Committee. Amber is excited to delve into her new roles within the RPPTL Section and will officially begin her duties at the Executive Council Meeting at the The Breakers on July 26, 2018.
