Cristina from BDO Focuses on Feeding Tampa Bay

Take a look at what Cristina from BDO enjoys doing on her time off within the community!

When Cristina moved to Tampa in May, she wanted to find something she could do to give back that would make a meaningful impact immediately. While hunger is always an issue, Covid-19 has increased the demand for food banks across the nation and Tampa Bay is no exception. Enter Feeding Tampa Bay. Cristina has spent every other Saturday morning for the past 3 months volunteering at the warehouse sort, working with other volunteers to sort 100’s of boxes of donated goods, ensuring items are not damaged or expired, and grouping items together for further distribution. It has been a great way to both give back and meet others from the community and she even got her 14 year old nephew to join her last month! When BDO announced a day off to Reflect & Recharge, Cristina knew that volunteering at Feeding Tampa Bay was how she wanted to start her day.
