Champa Bay Sports donates $10K within first quarter of operation due to viral growth

Tampa lifestyle brand Champa Bay Sports CEO Ben Sever & philanthropist, chose 6 organizations to donate a total of $10K to after seeing a massive growth. Among them were community pillars such as Feeding Tampa Bay, empowHERment, A Kids’ Place, Children’s Cancer Center, Where Love Grows, Clothes to Kids. Ben founded Champa Bay Sports (Instagram) in 2021 and launched the Tampa-based company during the Stanley Cup finals. Within the first 3 months of operation and going viral on Instagram, Ben and his team managed to produce 20 apparel designs, acquire 15 strategic partners, employ 8 full-time staff, set up an e-commerce store and organize 6 upcoming community events that will engage the community’s creative and cohesive nature.

As a renowned go-to-market strategist, he believes that his coined phrase “start-up by timeline, enterprise by design” needs to be a shared sentiment in the entrepreneurial ecosystem here. Ben has a loyal team of approximately 15 serial entrepreneurs and global subject matter experts that can execute funding, strategy, website design, partnership execution, infrastructure, and legal operations within weeks due to the philosophy that communities and networks are the wave of the future in disruptive, hypergrowth businesses.
