This morning we had the pleasure of hearing Building Easier Construction Group’s CEO & Founder William Daniel speak at the Centre Club’s July Breakfast with an Executive on entrepreneurship and seizing opportunity. Hailing from Crystal River, Florida William grew up in the Tampa Bay area and graduated from the University of Tampa.
William got his start in construction working for James Hardie Building Products for nine years. This gave him a working knowledge of the industry and led to the creation of the Building Easier Construction Group (BECG), a building and real-estate company, in 2014. Under the Building Easier brand umbrella is Bay Area Exteriors, Middle Bay Homes, and 29thStreet Holdings. BECG was founded with the goal of being easy to do business with and minimizing customer and vendor pain points through superior customer service. As the CEO, Will has led the organization to immense growth, with current revenues topping $30 million. BECG was named a Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Fast 50 honoree two years consecutively – growing through the pandemic. BECG’s size has also landed them on Tampa Bay’s Top 200 privately held companies in 2022. Additionally, Will was named a Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 40 under 40 honoree of 2022. Will discussed the efforts his organization has made to provide continued professional development for his team, as well as the challenges of retention and recruitment during COVID-19.
While not traveling Will is engaged in the community. He is a graduate of the Tampa Police Citizens Academy and founder of Food for the Family – a philanthropic campaign born out of the pandemic that helped families in need by partnering with local restaurants. His company gives back a portion of their sales each year to various community organizations. Will is committed to his community and is honored to be considered as a top leader in the area. Integrity, honesty, empathy, and hard work are at the core of who he is and those tenets have bled directly into the DNA of Building Easier.
