As a result of Tampa’s growth, BDO’s Tampa Practice welcomes Brian LaHue as a new addition to its team. Brian is transferring from BDO’s Atlanta Firm after working in Atlanta for two years.
At BDO’s Tampa Office, Brian will act as a Senior Tax Manager for Central Florida and Atlanta. He handles several complex clients on matters involving quarterly and annual income tax provisions, tax planning strategies, mergers and acquisitions, taxation of investments, consolidated tax returns, tax controversy, and tax compliance. In addition, Brian provides clients of all sizes with comprehensive tax services by working with key client personnel in order to understand and meet their unique business needs. A few of his present clients include WorldPay, a Publicly traded based in the United Kingdom, H-E Parts, Inc., a company recently acquired by Hitachi, as well as Numerex, a U.S. Publicly-traded company.
Additionally, Brian has worked with clients to develop custom tax provision solutions specific to their business needs. While at the Tampa Practice, along with his prior duties, Brian will be working with more closely held family businesses in addition to publicly traded companies. He shares his enthusiasm for the change and states,

Prior to BDO, Brian worked for other firms such as Ernst & Young, Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, Voya Financial, and Arthur Andersen. Brian chose to work at BDO as a result of its unparalleled client service, stellar reputation, as well as ubiquitous resources both nationwide and worldwide. Brian maintains over 12 years in Public Accounting with significant experience in accounting for income taxes for GAAP and statutory financial reporting. In addition, he retains 6 years experience as a Senior Manager in Corporate Tax.
While born in Ft. Lauderdale, Brian moved to Metro Atlanta at the age of two where he was raised outside of Atlanta. He earned his a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Georgia with. Brian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
