Steven Maly serves as the founder and CEO of AFC Logistics, a company at the forefront of transforming the logistics and transportation landscape. Graduating with a degree in Cybernetics, Steven embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 20, immigrating to the United States in pursuit of the American Dream. Faced with the economic downturn of the late 2000s, he transitioned into the trucking industry, obtaining a CDL license. As a truck driver, Steven identified numerous inefficiencies within the industry, motivating him to establish AFC Transport in 2012, operating initially from his truck’s bunk. Concurrently, he met his future wife, leveraging their combined expertise to streamline operations and prioritize driver welfare. This led to the formation of AFC Logistics in 2016, addressing gaps in freight brokerage services.
Under Steven’s leadership, AFC Logistics experienced exponential growth, relocating its headquarters to Downtown Tampa in 2022. Despite market fluctuations, the company achieved remarkable success, earning recognition as the #2 Fastest Growing Company in Tampa Bay for 2022, with a growth rate of 1,179.39%. Additionally, AFC Logistics secured the #2 position in the Logistics and Transportation category on the Inc 5000 list.
