BDO welcomes Jennifer Hamway as Assurance Partner and Central Florida Healthcare Practice Leader

BDO USA, LLP (BDO), one of the nation’s leading accounting and advisory firms, is pleased to announce that Jennifer Hamway has joined the firm as Assurance Partner and Central Florida Healthcare Practice Leader.

Jennifer has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, managed care and life sciences. She has worked with clients across the healthcare industry, both publicly traded and privately owned entities, including health plans, multi-hospital integrated health systems, large physician groups, accountable care organizations, nonprofit hospitals and skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, among others.

Jennifer spent 15 years of her career with a Big Four accounting firm, followed by four years of finance and accounting leadership roles in the managed care industry. Prior to joining BDO, she was a Partner and Central Florida Healthcare Industry Leader for a regional public accounting firm.

She earned her Master in Accounting from the University of South Florida and remains actively involved with the university as a member of the University of South Florida School of Accounting Advisory Council and the University of South Florida Accounting Circle Board of Directors. She is also a member of the FICPA Healthcare Industry Conference Committee.

In her role, she will work collaboratively with the BDO Center for Healthcare Excellence & Innovation to serve Central Florida based healthcare organizations. “I’m thrilled to join the team and look forward to working with our outstanding collaborative healthcare service team and practice leaders to growth the Central Florida healthcare practice” says Jennifer.
