Additionally, Thiru Govender has been appointed to the role of Central Florida Assurance Managing Partner.
About The Office
The new Tampa office, located on the 9th floor of 501 E. Kennedy Boulevard, will have over 30 employees. The office will embody BDO’s Exceptional Workplace strategy that the firm has been rolling out in new offices around the country. BDO Tampa will celebrate their new office space during an open house and ribbon-cutting event on Tuesday, June 4th.
Leadership Announcements
Thiru Govender has expanded his leadership role and will serve as the Assurance Managing Partner for Central Florida. Thiru has spent close to 20 years of his career with BDO. Prior to joining the firm’s Tampa office in 2015, Thiru also worked for BDO New York for 10 years and BDO Charlotte for seven years. He has led the Tampa office assurance team for over three years and his new role will cover both the Orlando and Tampa markets.
