Aakash Patel, President of Elevate, Inc., recently sat down with Joe Faw, Owner of Bay to Bay Properties for an in-depth podcast collaboration. Elevate, Inc. has started a podcast in the middle of a pandemic to highlight our clients and to discuss the amazing obstacles they are powering through during this time.
Joe Faw is the owner of Bay to Bay Properties which is located here in the Tampa Bay area! In 2003 Bay to Bay Properties kicked off after Joe completed school out in California. This was his first true job… I know risky opening your own business as your first job? But, wow- Joe has created an iconic company that is well respected in the community. Now after seventeen years in business Bay to Bay Properties is 100% focused on the commercial world! What does this mean? They are a full-service construction management company that assists clients all the way from the beginning to the end which consists of pre-construction to turning it over to the client, Bay to Bay Properties handles every step. Their hyper focus currently is self-storage units, car washes, fuel stations, and health care/commercial retail locations.
Joe is initially from Tampa and truly cares about his community! Joe stated, “On a personal front, I was heavily involved with Habitat for Humanity and their mission aligned well with my values.” He enjoys involving his entire team with the aspect of giving back- and knows he would not be where he is today without the support of his team and the community. He encourages his employees to be active in the community and feels appreciation and joy every time an impact is made! Bay to Bay Properties looks forward to taking on new projects and expanding during the next 5 years. Their upcoming goal is to focus on their sweet spot and break $100 million. Joe is thankful for his father who is his mentor and he often turned to him for guidance on generating new ideas and implementing them. He notes that his father didn’t tell him how to do it but pushed him to discovering how and why to do it. During the podcast he went in depth about discovering a healthy work life balance and shared great ideas on how to achieve this. Joe’s team is big on setting objectives and strategies while following action plans in order to achieve goals. With an amazing team and family behind him he has the support and reputable foundation to broaden Bay to Bay Properties to new heights.
