Winning CFO of the Year in one category is impressive. Even more impressive is winning two CFO of the Year awards. Ashby Green, President of Gazelle FP&A, was awarded CFO of the year for Medium Private Businesses as well as overall CFO of the Year by Tampa Bay Business Journal on February 2, 2017.
An independent panel of judges chose the 23 local executives as finalists and ultimately awarded four winners. Categories included Small Private Business, Medium Private Business, Large Private Business, and the overall winner. Others nominated in the Medium category included David Bradford of Environmental Pest Service, Jack Laskowitz of Paradise Inc., John McGovern of Star2Star Communications LLC, and Kris Wiebeck of Baldwin Risk Partners.
Ashby played an integral role during his time with St. Petersburg based business, Kobie Marketing. He has since started his own company, Gazelle FP&A, where he offers interim CFO services to companies in every industry. Ashby founded the company with the goal of meeting the unique needs and challenges entrepreneurs and small business owners face.
“I am honored and humbled by winning CFO of the year, both for Medium Private Business and overall. I hope to use these awards as a catalyst towards helping more start-ups and companies in the Tampa Bay Community.” Ashby explained.
From all of us at Elevate, Inc., congratulations Ashby! We are proud to be have you as a client.
