When you want to grow your business and network, it’s important to get involved in the community. Leadership St. Pete (LSP), one of the oldest leadership programs in America, offers leaders and business owners the opportunity to immerse themselves in problem-solving and decision-making processes. It is a dynamic, intensive, interactive 6-month experience designed to promote and enhance community leadership.
Being part of the Planning Committee (PC) offers the opportunity to support the class with insight and advice. To be accepted on the PC, one must be an alumnus of LSP. Ashby Green, President of Gazelle FP&A, went through LSP in 2016, and will be joining the PC for 2017! During his time, he will serve as an active mentor and will lead at least one seminar for the current class.
LSP seeks to identify, recruit, and develop leaders who represent diversity and who will take on future leadership roles within the Chamber and other community organizations. It is a stepping stone that opens doors to possibilities not otherwise attainable.
“Given Ashby’s wealth of experience he will have two primary roles, while serving on the PC: Act as one of the four PC advisors for the State Government Seminar; and serve as one of the members of the Sponsorship and Finance Committee.” Says Paul Stellrecht, current Chair of LSP.
Ashby’s company, Gazelle FP&A, offers interim CFO and strategic services to businesses of all sizes. His business acumen will be beneficial to the new class of LSP as he will be able to support and advise them on how to achieve growth within their own businesses.
Congratulations, Ashby! The Leadership St. Pete Planning Committee is lucky to have you.
