What importance do you place on community involvement?
The Dettlaffs play a huge role in the Tampa Bay community. From donating money to sponsoring various charities, we are always giving back to those who need it most. We take pride in helping families who are struggling with different situations, and making their lives better in any way we can.
What is the Dettlaff’s history with the Glazer Children’s Museum?
I heard about the museum and became interested in helping to bring smiles to more children in our community. I admire the museum’s mission to give children a place to play with purpose. Children are our community’s future, and it is important to empower them in any way we can.
What other charitable organizations does Dettlaff work with?
We are involved in the Children’s Cancer Center, St. Joseph’s Children Hospital and Tampa Police Department. Our goal is to do anything we can to ensure children and families in need get the best chance at a better life.
What is Dettlaff’s advice to businesses thinking about dedicating time to charitable organizations?
Giving back is so rewarding. It opens up your eyes to see how others live and the situations life throws at people. The key is to know what really matters at the end.
