Alpesh explained how Benzer Pharmacy has grown in the past seven years from one store in Michigan to about sixty-six within nine different states. Benzer Pharmacy is located in eleven locations in Tampa and two locations in Pinellas. It is a fully functional pharmacy that specializes in specialty medications and compounded medications. Benzer Pharmacy differentiates itself from other pharmacies due to its tailored amenities such as free delivery as well as customized packaging detailing the days and times to take the medication. This service eliminates any confusion regarding when each medication should be taken.

Furthermore, Benzer Pharmacy offers specialty medication for many chronic illnesses. It provides consultation and monitoring of the patients medications. This allows pharmacists to track medications and drug interactions. Benzer Pharmacy also works with insurance companies to advocate for the patient and to determine the patient’s best possible outcome. The pharmacy even reaches out to non-profits to assist patients with chronic illnesses in paying for their expensive monthly prescriptions.

Alpesh explains that the favorite aspect of his job is the opportunity to see people recover. Benzer’s pharmacists are there to explain each medication as well as to answer any questions the customer might have about their prescriptions. Benzer Pharmacy is customer oriented and maintains a “mom and pop” feel, while maintaining steady growth.
