Aakash Patel LIVE on 1250AM WHNZ with The Business Happy Hour

Wednesday, April 17 at 11AM, Aakash Patel, Elevate, Inc. President, was hosted on 1250AM WHNZ radio station with the The Business Happy Hour crew, Frank Coto of Lincoln Lending Group, Doug Ford of Suncoast Roofing Solutions, and Ryan Pelky of Tampa Bay Plumbers, LLC.

On the air Aakash shared the business tip of the week which included advice about networking events and how to be efficient while at them. The first tip was that there is always an organizer and a sponsor for an event and to make sure to thank them at the beginning. This is important because those people know who is who in the room. The second tip was about having a plan before walking into an event. Set a personal goal to meet and get the business cards of a set number of people and also, when attending an event with other colleagues, make sure to split up to ensure that you will talk to new people and not the people you already know. Aakash also mentions the importance of following up via e-mail and LinkedIn within 24 hours of attending the event.
