The Fortune is in the Follow-Up

On November 19th, Elevate Inc. President, Aakash Patel stopped by Synuity’s new office in Carrollwood. Not only did Synuity want to give their office an update, but also their approach to prospecting clients. The team has been keeping busy building their brand. All the hard work is paying off and they are seeking ways to continue the development of their business.

During the brainstorming session lead by Patel, the two teams covered the “To-do’s” to continue bringing light to Synuity. For Synuity, the biggest take-away was that networking isn’t just about being present at the event and handing out cards. The real mission starts before the event occurs and ends long after. During the discussion, Synuity came up with a strategy to tailor to their payroll and human resources company. It was discussed that a great strategy is to come up with a game plan long before arriving at an event, consider who you may want to meet and make sure to focus on the goal at hand.

The fortune is in the follow-up. Waiting won’t get you anywhere, Synuity understands the importance behind the initial follow up. It is crucial that the initial follow-up happens within 24 hours of making the original face to face connection. After this meeting, the Synuity team decided that they will strategize exactly how the team should follow up with prospects to optimize the connections that they have made. Synuity decided that there is no mystery to be solved, it is just a matter of forming a plan, and making a commitment to stick to the formula that works!

New goals have been set for Team Synuity. The team strives to increase their social media productivity and become more involved with charitable programs. Sales Representative, Russell Newman decided although he typically does not use LinkedIn, that maybe it is time to use this tool to leverage his network. The team has agreed to follow suit. Within the past 18 months or so, LinkedIn has become a very powerful tool. This is groundbreaking as there was once a time that LinkedIn was just considered a site to spam others with resumes and job postings.  LinkedIn has truly become a platform to connect those in the business world and Synuity plans to use it to their advantage.
