As a medical practice grows, it is important that their staff grow with them. Tampa Neuropsychiatry’s clinic is rapidly growing to meet the needs of their community. They now seek two employees, a Nurse Practitioner and a Front Desk Billing Assistant.

Nurse Practitioners & Front Desk Billing Assistants interested in these roles should have psychiatric experience, a friendly demeanor, and a sensitivity towards patients with behavioral health issues. Though daily tasks will be different for these positions, it is important that both have patience and compassion for those seeking treatment.

On top of the qualities listed above, the Front Desk Billing Assistant should have experience with billing systems and insurance claims. Organization will be fundamental in this role. They should also be able to juggle a high volume of calls, emails, and in-person patients at the same time.

To be successful as a Nurse Practitioner with Tampa Neuropsychiatry, psychiatry experience is necessary. This person should be flexible and sometimes be available on short notice. A focus on evidence-based practice is a must, as is being open to teaching from their lead psychiatrist. Current needs are for part-time but full-time work will be available soon.
