Tampa Chamber Circle of Influence

Last Friday morning, The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce met for another fantastic Circle of Influence meeting at the One Tampa City Center.  Everyone enjoyed their breakfast at the University Club with spectacular views as the sun rose over downtown Tampa.  Chairman of the Tampa Chamber, Guy King, who is pictured here, introduced President Dr. William J. Lennox, Jr. from Saint Leo University who spoke to the members about his experiences in the military before taking the position at Saint Leo’s and the progress the school has made since he has been there.

Dr. Lennox is a retired U.S. Army three-star Lieutenant General who received a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY. He also earned a master’s and a Ph.D. in Literature from Princeton University.  He is a smart and well-spoken man with a passion for Saint Leo and helping the students there succeed.

Dr. William Lennox was a very lively and charismatic speaker who kept the listeners engaged.  He compared Saint Leo to his experience at West Point and explained how his time there helps him fulfill his current role.  Lennox asserted that Saint Leo is a strong school with small class sizes providing their students with the attention they need.

Saint Leo is also growing rapidly and has a large online learning platform. He urged all of us to visit and find out more information to see the growth and of Saint Leo and the ways they are #HelpingOurCity.
