Southeast Compounding Pharmacy Donates PPE to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office

On Thursday July 2nd, Southeast Compounding Pharmacy kindly donated 1000 surgical facemasks, as well as a handful of digital thermometers, to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. The HCSO was grateful for this donation that will both be used to help protect front-line officers and be offered to members in the community, all as the department continues work in community engagement throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Southeast Compounding Pharmacy sells Personal Protective Equipment including masks, gowns, thermometers and more. SCP offers these scarcely available goods to fulfill both personal consumer and business needs. This commitment to distributing PPE shows that, at a time when our community is most vulnerable, SCP is committed to protecting others. Ultimately, the donation speaks testament to the local community focus of Southeast Compounding Pharmacy, which has been operating in Tampa for over a decade.

Haresh Patel, CEO of Southeast Compounding Pharmacy said: “We are very happy to donate these masks to the Sherriff’s Department. We know that they will be used to help the community. At Southeast Compounding Pharmacy, we have two focuses: one is to help out the local community and the other is to provide the highest quality medications to patients coupled with the highest quality customer service. We have been lucky to be able to combine both of these goals to really help others and make a difference in Tampa, a city that has given us so much.” This story is yet another example of how businesses are stepping up to help #ElevateTampa.
