WHAT:

The Ryan Nece Foundation, in partnership with National Christian Foundation Tampa Bay, is distributing 15,000 masks to healthcare and front line workers throughout Hillsborough County. Previously, the Ryan Nece Foundation provided 600 N95 masks to Community Health Centers of Pinellas County, another 600 masks to Hillsborough County Emergency Management, and an additional 600 masks were divided between Feeding Tampa Bay, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Advent Health, and Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.

The 15,000 masks are being provided to healthcare and public service facilities including Tampa General Hospital, Tampa Fire Rescue, Hillsborough County Emergency Management, St. Joseph’s Hospital, James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, USF Health, and Metropolitan Ministries, among others.

The Ryan Nece Foundation was started in 2006 by former NFL linebacker Ryan Nece. The foundation’s mission is to create opportunities for teens to embrace the Power of Giving through volunteerism and inspirational leadership programs.
