Raju Chidambaram, the Managing Partner and CTO at Dobler Consulting, LLC was just named the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce’s Business Man of the Year. Raju Co-Founded Dobler Consulting in 2008 with his long-term friend Peter Dobler. The company has since expanded and is now comprised of 50 employees that work to provide turnkey database solutions for many fortune 500 companies specialized in finance, Health Care, Manufacturing, Media and Services industry throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Annually, during the Banyan Ball, its signature event, the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce announces its Business Man of the Year. This Year, Raju was named 2017 Indo-US Business Man of the Year. After 25 years of extensive experience in the database and technologies, Raju has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as AT&T, Wells Fargo, Micron and Nielsen Media Research. Raju’s expertise ranges from designing, developing and implementing complex, heavy volume Database Solutions.
Raju received his Masters in Computer Science and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). This year, Dobler Consulting has received much recognition such as the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s FAST 50, a nominee for Small business of the year, as well as the INC5000 Award for the Fastest Technology Company in Tampa.
As a result of his role within Dobler Consulting’s continued success, Raju becomes a fitting choice for the Indo-US Chamber’s award and what the chamber embodies. In 1999, Indian American businessmen and professionals within the Tampa Bay community founded the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce. Raju shares his excitement about winning this prominent award,
“Winning the business man of the year award is a testament to my belief hard work, perseverance and risk taking will always get rewarded. I also believe American dream is that anyone despite their background or where they come from can prosper as much they are willing to achieve.”
The mission at the Indo-US Chamber is to provide a platform for which Asian American professionals may communicate and exchange ideas within the business community. Through this forum, it becomes a source of knowledge that for like-minded individuals to promote professionalism and excellence through education and community involvement.
Besides his work within the business sector, Raju is also a philanthropist that supports a charity organization in Trichy, India that assists wandering mentally ill, elderly care, and schools for gifted kids. Within the Tampa Bay community, Raju actively volunteers at Feeding America.
While providing the opportunity to work together, grow together, and learn from one another, the Chamber provides the sources for others to develop and grow their businesses. With that being said, it is vital to recognize those who are creating a lasting impact in the business community that great a positive effect on the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce.
