PikMyKid is the School Dismissal Chaos Fix

PikMyKid’s Founder and CEO, Pat Bhava and Client Relations Manager, Sydney Young, kicked off Friday mornings That Business Radio Show!

“The app was born out of a personal problem I had,” Bhava explains. “Trying to pick up my daughter from school everyday at 2:30.” Founder of PikMyKid continued, “You know what it’s like at your child’s school during pick-up time and all hell breaks loose. Kids are running in streets, traffic jams, and about 50 teachers trying to manage this whole chaos.”

PikMyKid was developed to make the school dismissal process more efficient and ultimately keep kids safer, hence the hashtag #SafeKids.

Sydney Young handles all client relations, designing custom dismissal plans and implementing the school dismissal process. “We are currently live in 5 states across the country and we’ve had international attention as well!”

The team is thrilled to be the solution to the local, national and even international problem that parents, teachers, administrators and children are facing every day!

PikMyKid is currently a Sweet 16 Finalist for the Cade Museum Prize for Innovation, one of the largest cash prize competitions for innovation in the state of Florida!
