Mike Stram shared many exciting aspects of his company, Easy Living with Technology on That Business Show with Jamie Meloni. Beginning over 20 years ago with $5,000 that his dad loaned to him in order to start the business. Mike Stram explained that his business exemplifies the epitome of easy, smart, and fun living.
At Easy Living with Technology Mike and his team design and create easy-to-operate Smart-Home Systems that also make the entire house your entertainment system. One of Easy Living with Technology’s most utilized slogan is “Is your home as smart as your car?” This is because Mike Stram believes homes are technologically behind and should be on par with the progress of current luxury automobiles.
Mike described how easy it is to transform your home to a Smart-Home. He compared this notion with the infrastructure of homes 100 years ago. Back then, toilets were the highest technology available for a home! The floor plan did not accommodate ANY technology – toilets, washer and dryer hookups, kitchen appliances or even air conditioners. The same concept remains in homes today; they are not set-up to be “smart home ready”. As in the past, architects and home designers need to learn to design a SPACE on the floor plan, to accommodate technology! One way this is completed is through the design and installation of a Technology Closet®. This becomes the “engine room” of your smart-home. It allows a space where ALL electronic equipment resides and becomes manageable and easily serviceable.
Another aspect of Easy Living with Technology remains within its spectacular home theaters. One of their current projects is a spectacular Home Cinema featuring a 215-inch CineWide Screen with the absolute best video projector available on planet earth. The screen is 22 feet wide and 9 feet high! The room features acoustic isolation design and construction, which creates a quiet area that will block out many irritating noises such as the landscape guy’s gas-blower, the dishwasher or barking dogs. Furthermore, Easy Living with Technology’s giant movie screen has over 8 million pixels, whereas the average home theater is merely 2 million pixels. A huge difference in quality!
Additionally, Mike Stram shared that another awesome feature in home entertainment is a motorized TV art frame with a giclee print. Giclee prints use thermal imaging onto canvas to replicate original artwork. The motorized TV art frame quietly moves over a TV screen to conceal the TV when you’re not using it. Without these TV Art Frames, TV’s are just black-rectangles hanging on the wall when you’re not using them. This is just one of many examples as to how Easy Living with Technology can transform your home to serve you! Easy Living creates a comfortable lifestyle, unabashed convenience, a “cool factor” and of course Easy Living!
