Pilot Bank is excited to welcome Courtenay Marshall to the team as their new Chief Credit Officer. Courtenay brings with him to Pilot Bank 27 years of banking experience, including many previous bank leadership positions. He holds vast experience in the banking industry after having worked in multiple areas from retail banking to commercial lending, sales management to credit administration.
Originally from just outside of DC in Silver Spring, MD, Courtenay now commutes back to the area on most weekend as he and his family live in both Florida and Maryland until they can relocate to Florida full time. Courtenay holds a BA degree from the Eckerd College Honors Program and then attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
An avid fitness advocate, Courtenay participates in Crossfit consistently 6 days a week. He also coins himself a baseball nut and tries to get to as many Rays games with his family as he can as a St. Pete resident – while still remaining a steadfast fan of the Nats, Caps and Redskins.
As well as being big history buff, Courtenay is also a NASA buff and enjoys reading about either – usually striving to read a new book every week or two. His community and professional affiliations include the First Housing Board of Directors.
Courtenay brings a wealth of knowledge to Pilot Bank and the Tampa Bay Area. Stay tuned to see how he and the team at Pilot Bank will continue to #ElevateTampa.
